Bello

Brouwerij Bello is a brewery in Vinkeveen, founded by homebrewer Kelvin Hoogeboom. The name Bello is a direct reference to the local Bellopad, a famous walking path along a former railway line. The steam locomotive 'Bello' roared through the brewer's hometown via this railway line until the 1850s and still serves on the current Hoorn-Medemblik steam train route. Additionally, Bello is a corruption of the Italian word 'Bellissimo', which means beautiful or magnificent, and that is precisely what Bello aims to serve: magnificent beer from Vinkeveen.
