Brewery Het Zwijn traces its origins back to co-founder Bram's backyard—a place where wild boars once roamed and where a small, atmospheric inn now stands. This inn grew into a meeting place for beer lovers who enjoy special craft beers together. Yet, Bram and co-founder Wouter still felt the urge to do something. Besides tasting fine beers, they wanted to create something themselves. At the bar, on a simple beer mat, the first flavor ideas were jotted down. What began as sketches and dreams grew into several of their own recipes. With a microbrewery setup, the plans became reality: brewing, tasting, refining, and repeating this process time and time again. That is how Het Zwijn was born: a brewery born from friendship, passion, and the drive to create something special themselves.
