Hafgufa – Dark, deep and all-consuming
Named after the sea monster from Old Norse legend that devours everything within its reach. This imperial stout by Gulden Triomfator It does pretty much the same thing to your evening.
Coffee and dark chocolate upfront, impenetrable black in the glass, dry and pronounced in the finish. Not a beer to gulp down in between, and one that also ages well.
