Hophelden curates the packages themselves from their current assortment, ensuring that a box contains different breweries and styles instead of six bottles of the same beer. The available packages vary along with the assortment. There are boxes built around a specific style, a box for heavier loads, and a more spacious package that provides a cross-section of the webshop. In all cases, the same applies: different brewers side by side, no duplicate bottles.

    Do I know in advance which beers are in the package?

    No, and that is on purpose. We put together the packages from whatever is fresh in at the moment, so that you always get something that is in stock and tastes good. The style of the package is fixed, however: a blond package contains blond beers.

    Can I have a package delivered as a gift?

    Yes. Enter the recipient's delivery address at checkout. If you would like to include a message, please let us know via the contact form, and we will include a card.

    Are the glasses included?

    No, a package consists of beer. For each beer, the product page does state which glass the brewer themselves recommends, so you know what you are looking for.

    What is the difference between the welcome package and the packages of six?

    The welcome pack contains twelve beers and takes a broad approach: different styles and different brewers mixed together. The packs of six stay within a single style, so that you taste the differences within that style.

    How long does a package stay good?

    That varies by beer. Every label has a best-before date. Hoppy beers are best drunk within a few months, while heavy dark beers can last for years. Store the bottles upright, in a dark, and cool place.
