When Beun Brewing<\/a> Once they received the permit to brew at their own location in Vlissingen, heavy beers followed immediately. This is one of them: a dry hopped double. IPA<\/a> which, according to the brewer, is full-bodied, fruity, and hoppy.<\/p>\n Comes in full and holds onto it for a long time, but surprisingly drinkable for this weight.<\/p>\n This is how you strike the first blow.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Brouwerij Beun started in a small apartment near the Vlissingen boulevard, with a 30-liter kettle and a few plastic buckets. What began as experimenting\u2014making mistakes and improving\u2014quickly grew into a serious hobby. Stainless steel vats, a bottling machine, and increasingly professional equipment followed\u2014a true passion that got out of hand.<\/p>\n After a year, the brewery moved to a garage in the city center of Vlissingen. There, the first major success came at the Abbey Beer Festival. That whetted their appetite for more: Beun officially became a company and had the recipe brewed in Belgium. From the end of September 2024, the first 'garage beer' went on sale. Demand grew rapidly, causing production to be doubled within just a month.<\/p>\n The growth continued, and a second, larger garage followed. In May 2025, the second beer was launched, and by then, Beun was already available at 30 locations. In September 2026, the permit was obtained to brew on-site.
