Brouwerij De Poel is the initiative of Peter and Stefan Touw, father and son with a shared love for beer. From Langeraar in South Holland, they developed their hobby into a craft microbrewery.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, they have been continuously working on developing and refining their own recipes. What started with small batches of 5 liters grew into brewing with a 30-liter automatic kettle. As soon as a recipe is fully perfected, it is scaled up externally to larger batches of 1,000 liters. The first beer on this scale appeared in 2025 and was brewed at De Noord-Hollandse Bierbrouwerij.<\/p>\n
De naam De Poel verwijst naar de Langeraarse Plassen ook wel de drie \u201cPoelen\u201d het natuurgebied dat de brouwerij inspireert en haar thuisbasis vormt.
