Blonde Helen – Fresh, fruity and a touch cheeky

The second beer of De Kauw, the only brewery in Bleiswijk, where Helen and Edwin once started with a small thirty-liter kettle.

A blond With a subtle citrus kick on a light malty base, clear golden blonde in the glass. Of everything we sell from this brewery, this is the least bitter and the most fruity, with a short, fresh finish.

The next glass is full again in no time.

We are Helen and Edwin, the proud brewers behind Brouwerij De Kauw – the only brewery in our beautiful Bleiswijk. What started as a hobby with a small 30-liter kettle soon grew into something much bigger. After countless test brews, our first tripel was born: Ondeugende Joost, named after Edwin's stepfather.

The taste was so well received that we soon had to scale up… and the rest is history. Our second beer is already ready to shine: Blonde Helen.

Our brews? We make them with pure water, carefully selected malt and hops, and – most importantly – a whole lot of love for good beer. Cheers!

Blonde Helen is een blond bier van 6 procent met een subtiele citruskick en licht moutige basis, zacht op 19 IBU.
